Doing Longitudinal Studies Online

Event time in UTC

Volunteer Science are running free, virtual workshops that are open to the public.

Longitudinal studies are difficult to conduct, particularly online, as people drop out, forget to participate, or you fail to link data across waves. In this workshop, we'll go through the nuts and bolts of recruiting and engaging participants and collecting longitudinal data.

You will learn:

  • How to recruit and empanel subjects

  • How to contact and engage participants across waves

  • Procedures for ensuring data quality

By the end of this workshop, you should be able to navigate the decisions you will need to make to conduct a longitudinal study online.

This workshop will be recorded for attendees to come back to it for reference and inspiration.
