More information

Virginia Braun and Victoria Clarke's first co-authored publication was Using thematic analysis in psychology published in Qualitative Research in Psychology in 2006 (this has been translated into Turkish, and adapted into Brazilian Portuguese, with other translations in progress). Since then, they have gone on to write an award-winning and bestselling introductory qualitative textbook – Successful Qualitative Research (2013), translated into both Hindi and Marathi – and numerous chapters, editorials, commentaries and encyclopaedia entries on thematic analysis (TA) (some with other co-authors – most commonly Nikki Hayfield and Gareth Terry). They have taught TA in a wide range of settings internationally (sometimes together, sometimes separately, sometimes with Nikki or Gareth).
