Empowering Research: Unveiling Our New Community Experience

Exciting transformations are on the horizon for MethodSpace. We are thrilled to announce our rebrand as Sage Research Methods Community!  Sage Research Methods Community is an open-access blog with posts on using, teaching, and developing research methods and tools as well as sharing results. We also showcase author interviews, roundtable discussions, and monthly webinars on the hot topics of the day.

At the heart of our decision is a deep commitment to enhancing your experience. We believe that a blog should be more than just a repository of research methods posts—it should be a vibrant space where like-minded individuals come together to learn, grow, and inspire.

Providing More Research Resources

With this rebrand, we aim to bring you an even richer array of researcher experiences, teaching materials, and tool development resources. Resources include monthly How to Do Research and Get Published webinars, original posts on quarterly topics, support for developing methods tools, newsletters with the latest new resources and events, and access to select ungated materials from Sage Research Methods, a curated repository of Sage e-books, peer-reviewed articles, cases, media, and datasets. The blog is evolving into a comprehensive hub that supports every aspect of your research journey, from understanding the basics to exploring advanced methodologies.

Fostering Community

The focus on community is our dedication to promoting access to knowledge that helps researchers, educators, tool developers, and learners meet the challenges they are facing. We envision a platform where you can absorb valuable insights, learn from your peers, and refine your research methods journey through collective wisdom.

Supporting Innovation

At the core of our community is a strong commitment to fostering innovation in research methods. We achieve this by actively engaging in collaborations and championing ideas, tools, and technologies that enhance teaching, learning, and research within social science methods. This support comes through both our content and the concept grants.

Improving your Sage Research Methods Community Experience

Your experience matters to us. We are investing in a space that not only educates but also elevates your skills as a researcher, writer, teacher, and tool developer. You’ll see some changes to this space over the next several months. Expect enhanced navigation, user-friendly interfaces, and a design that resonates with the community spirit we aim to cultivate.

We're excited about this journey and invite you to join us in building a vibrant community that enhances methods—a space where knowledge knows no bounds, and connections are forged.

Thank you for being a crucial part of our evolving story.
