These enhancements are designed to support academic success by providing practical resources and empowering learners at every stage of their academic journey.
With insights from leading industry experts, we’ve realigned our content to better support researchers and students – just in time to help you plan ahead for the new academic year and start strong with the right tools in your arsenal.

What’s new?
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
Love or hate it – you can’t escape it! As AI continues to evolve at a rapid pace, our team has been working tirelessly to keep our content current and relevant. Spearheaded by leading experts with hands-on experience in AI Research, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence offers you practical tools to help you leverage AI effectively while exploring the ethical considerations of its use. It’s designed to empower leaners to confidently navigate the ever-changing AI landscape.
Cleaning Messy Data
With a primed focused on practical based skills, our course designers have expanded the source material to help learners build practical skills that employers truly value. These updates not only equip learners with skills that are essential for academic research but also are highly sought after in the workplace. As part of enriching the learner experience, we also provide beneficial cues and insights offering nuggets of wisdom as students progress through the course.
Develop Your Search Strategy
Reviewed in collaboration with an academic librarian, this course update introduces three brand-new videos and expands on how Gen AI works in real-world search scenarios. It explores how both Gen AI and the Boolean logic can be a powerful asset when used with precision. These additions help to strengthen students search strategies and equips leaners with the tools to navigate search platforms to refine results and find answers with confidence.
Know Your Numbers
Continuing our efforts to improve accessibility, we’ve updated course activities to reduce the need for scrolling between content sections, helping students stay focused and fully engaged with the learning materials.
The following courses have also been revised to ensure they are up to date and offer a refreshed learning experience: Introduction to Text Mining, Plan Your Project, See Numbers in Data, Statistical Significance, Unlocking Statistics: From Hypothesis to Outcome and Working With Transcribed Data.
If you have already started any of these courses, you’ll see a prompt with two choices:
Continue without updating - you will keep your progress but will not see the updated content. You will see this prompt each time you select a module with an update, so you can always change your mind in the future.
Update: you will lose your progress, but you will see the updated content. Once this option is selected, you can’t go back and view the previous version of the content.
