SAGE Research Methods (SRM) is a treasure trove of books, articles, videos, case studies and social reading tools. The content is focused, not surprisingly, on topics associated with scholarly research methods. It is a subscription-based resource available in participating academic libraries. If your library doesn’t have a subscription, and you would like to access the materials listed here, explore SAGE Research Methods with a free trial.
One of my favorite SRM tools is called Reading Lists. This feature allow you to curate collections of resources for your own private use, or to share with students, co-authors, or the public. If you find resources in someone else's list, you can save them by clicking Add to My Lists.
I assembled this list of materials that focus on mentoring and supervising researchers, as well as readings and videos to help graduate students work with their supervisors. So whichever side of the desk you are on, you will find useful ideas!
