Dr. Jan Eichhorn exemplifies the expansive view of research we are considering this month on SAGE Methodspace. In addition to serving as a Senior Lecturer at the in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh, he also acts as research director of the Berlin-based think tank d|part, which aims to make research on political participation useful for practitioners.
Not surprisingly, his new book about survey research is practical and accessible. Survey Research and Sampling covers survey research from start to finish. Use the code MSPACEQ222 for a discount when ordering the book through SAGE Publishing.
In this interview with Methodspace community manager Janet Salmons, Eichhorn explains some key steps helpful to any researcher considering the use of surveys in quantitative or mixed methods research.
