Defining Action Research
Can you remember a time when action research was more critically important?
We are challenged by the fact that our worlds have changed dramatically in the last couple of years, creating new problems that call out for study, while many of us face new obstacles for conducting research or teaching methods. In these times it is simply not enough to just do research, we need to do research that will produce useful, applicable findings.
Action research was the focus for October 2020, with Mentors-in-Residence Ernie Stringer and Alfredo Ortiz Aragon, co-authors of a new edition of the text Action Research. They defined action research and gave examples in this research conversation. Find the whole series here.
